Our Philly By Night tour offers a spectacular view of the city after dark, when our skyline is beautifully transformed with lights. The tour passes by historic sites such as the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, and makes a stop at the Philadelphia Art Museum's "Rocky Steps" where you can snap a photo with the hometown hero or run to the top of the steps for the best view of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and City Hall. The tour also travels through historic Society Hill and along Penn's Landing.

The buses are clean, well staffed and run on time. Tour guides are friendly and helpful. The stops are frequent and take you to many of the notable attractions in the metro Philadelphia area.

It was quite steamy when we were in Philly and decided to go back to the hotel during the heat of the day to swim/cool off and then head back out for the evening.....this was a great plan but we then needed evening activities. We saw this bus tour advertised and thought we'd give it a try. It was exceptional and we enjoyed it tremendously. We purchased tickets earlier in the day which was probably wise since we ended up with a full crowd on the upper level. The guide was wonderful, well-spoken, humorous (but not corny!), and an absolute pleasure to spend 90-ish minutes with. We loved to see the city light up as we drove along and appreciated the stop at the art museum to run the steps. We did this on the first night there so this tour also gave us a great "lay of the land" for the rest of our visit. I cannot recommend this tour enough and if in Philly again, we'd probably take it again.

Overall the tour was wonderful. The only reason they aren’t getting 5 stars is because they have conflicting information about the meeting location. When you buy tickets online your tickets say to meet at 5th and Market. However only because my husband called after we had been waiting did we find out that we needed to meet 7 blocks away. So we had to rush to make it there on time. But other than that the drive was smooth and we were able to see many different locations. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and was a native who is now a Social Studies teacher so she knows her stuff. If she threw in some jokes and anecdotes that weren’t necessarily part of her spiel that made it fun and enjoyable to listen to. She also pointed out some great places to eat and different types of places to visit depending on what you were interested in. Really great experience once we made it to the correct location.

Our guides do a great job in providing an engaging, informative, helpful, and factually accurate historical tour. As noted on the website, 5th & Market is our Stop # 1 near the Independence Visitor Center and Liberty Bell, and is a boarding location for the start of the tour. Guests can board at any of our 27 stops along the tour route. Perhaps there was a detour or road closure that prevented Stop #1 from being used the day you rode the bus. I do apologize for any inconvenience you experienced.
