The PistachioLand tour offers a ride on a 14 passenger electric vehicle through the pistachio orchards and vineyards. This is a working farm where pistachios and wine grapes are produced, and wine and candy is also produced on-site. Free samples of nuts and wine are available in the gift shop. Although you can walk-in to purchase a $2 ticket, booking guarantees a seat unless canceled for weather. Risks: Open air vehicle exposed to weather, wildlife and farm operations. Tour vehicle travels on a bumpy, gravel road. Pets are not allowed on tour due to insurance requirements. Waivers required from each guest. Must be seated on the vehicle 15 minutes prior to departure.

Tour was $5 and worth it just to see the pecan trees and learn their history and how the nuts are harvested. Have a nice little gift shop with ice cream and pistachios in every flavor under the sun. Also, free wine samples at the bar. Takes about an hour to do the place.

Emilio was a great tour guide. He shared so many interesting facts about both the vineyard and pistachio grove. He made the tour entertaining. Take this tour! You will come to understand why pistachios are a bit pricey.

Thank you for taking our farm tour! Emilio will be thrilled to hear that he made the tour experience fun. Pistachios take 8 years to produce and 15 years to full maturity and this definitely lends to their cost. We are glad you enjoyed our family farm and look forward to seeing you again.

We stayed at a campground across the highway and on leaving the next day, decided to stop, just to get a photo with the giant pistachio. That was a good idea, since we ended up spending well more than an hour there. The store has everything and we went on our way much lighter in the wallet because of it. The ice cream (pistachio and cinnamon crumble) was delicious, as was the wine. We also did the farm tour, led by Matt, and learned a lot about pistachios and grapes, especially since we knew nothing about them. Matt is a funny dude and really made the tour! So glad we stopped.
