Matt was a wonderful tour guide! Extremely informative and went out of his way to make sure we all had a wonderful experience. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a great day trip outside of anchorage. Especially ideal for a large group that wants a more private tour experience. 10/10 stars! :)

Driver Matt was a racist! We are from the Philippines and he discriminated us. We stood our ground and will not let him treat us poorly. My partner is a lawyer and I am a Judge in the Philippines and former Prosecutor too. We hope Matt learns how to treat people fairly. We booked 4 tours from Viator. We had 26 Glaciers before this and this portage thing was just to fill our time in anchorage before heading to another viator tour in the arctic circle. Will definitely tell our friends and everyone about this Matt.

Matt is not a racist since me as the owner am also a Filipino and would not have hired Matt if he did not respect my culture or my race. He was married to an Alaska Native and has three beautiful children one who recently graduated from Stanford University with a law degree. He now after a year of losing his wife is online dating a Filipino from your country and only was at the moment excited to learn more about how long it took for you to get to Alaska and the route you took. Yet you took this as if he asked you how you could afford the trip when in reality he was trying to see the feasibility of someone from the Philippines coming to Alaska to see him. You see he is currently courting a Filipino after his death of his wife who died of pancreatic cancer almost a year and a half ago. During that time because of the Filipino culture which is equal to love and care I allowed him to have his wife be his side kick on every tour he did for me to ensure he had the most time he could with his wife and still work. Do you know how hard it was to be Matt? You only hurt someone who did not need to be hurt at this tough time in his life by calling him a racist which was wrong. Especially since he has dark skin and I am here to tell you that you are way out of line. Your view of Matt being a racist is totally out of the question and you are outright wrong. I will stand up to you in the highest court to defend Matt and you will not win just because you think your stature entitles you. You took offences only because another guest took your seat that you and you did not leave any belongs on to prevent someone not to think your seat wasn’t open. Matt did what anyone would do and he corrected the problem. We do not guard seats and seats are not yours to claim as we have no assigned seating. We have an open seat policy but do everything to keep your seat saved for you, which Matt did after you requested. Where did you get racism out of this? You are wrong and your attack on my employee is not a good thing to do using this forum. I have requested your review to be taken down as the policy of this forum does not encourage you to attack an employee. Personal attacks are not good in a reviews especially when you know nothing about someone's character that we know not to be true. I stand by Matt and I hope anyone reading this review will also see that Matt has numerous good reviews and will read further and then stand by him too. If TripAdvisor reviews my response I hope they see that you are TOTALLY in the wrong and that they will flag any other racist claims that decide to claim as unwarranted and a blatant attack for your gain. You attacked a brown skin against a brown skin. You attacked a Filipino against a Filipino what could possibly be gained by you?
