Because wine tastings in Napa Valley wineries are no longer free (most cost at least $25.00 and go up to $400.00 per person depending on the experience you choose), we brought one Priority Wine Pass through Groupon for $34.50 (usually $59.00 for a one year pass). One pass is good for two people and can be used at over 250 wineries in California, 50 wineries in Washington, and 50 wineries in Oregon for wine tastings, discounts, and special events. I downloaded the Priority Wine Pass app to my phone, which was great for offers, telephone numbers, directions, etc. Advance reservations are required at most all wineries, some may accept walk-ins. We opted to call the wineries to check availability because their websites wanted you to pre-paid for wine tastings. We used the Priority Wine Pass at seven (7) wineries and saved about $235.00 on wine tastings.
