Everyone always wants to jump on and ride fast when they’re with horses, and that’s exactly what our advanced ride is for. Experienced riders can kick up the energy a little and have a horseback adventure in a truly spectacular natural setting—Oahu’s North Shore. Guided by one of our wranglers, you’ll strike out onto technical trails and across open pastures, passing grazing cows who just might sneak a peek to see your skills!

This ride involves trotting and cantering, and it’s important that all participants have previous riding experience. Wranglers will assess riding skills and will base the pace of the ride on the skill level of the least experienced rider in the group. Our wranglers are well-trained and ready for anything, so as long as you have the horse skills needed, you’ll have a fun and safe experience.

I had a wonderful "advanced" ride where we walked and loped through beautiful woods and pastures, up and down hills and near a scenic overlook. Ty was a great guide. He provided lots of interesting information about the ranch and surrounding area. Ranch staff were courteous and helpful. All the horses appeared to be in very good condition. Remington was my horse for the ride. He was well trained and easy to handle, a good go and a good whoa, neckreined and moved off the leg. Definitely this is a great place to ride. And ask for Ty.

I had a great ride! My wrangler, Ty, was totally knowledgable and told me a lot about the ride and the countryside we were going through. He had a fine horse, and mine was just dandy - an ex-rodeo horse from Oregon that knew all about it. A bonus for me, as a former polo player, was the neck-reining. It was certainly the best ride I could have had! Congratulations!

Cali and Angus took me on a beautiful ride on the 1000 acre ranch. They were both very knowledgeable and welcoming. The horse are very well cared for (got sunscreen on their noses before we cast off) and appear fit and happy. Highly recommend this family owned facility.
