Private Arctic Circle Expedition from Fairbanks

Przegląd
This is a small, private tour to the Arctic Circle. Passengers will be riding in a comfy 2025 Toyota Sequoia and brand new winter tires.

Scheduling on the website is a bit tricky and doesn't allow for next day returns, just keep in mind the trip will take 10-12 hours depending on weather and how much time you'd like to spend at each location.

We'll be travelling through mountain passes, river valleys, and possibly seeing the Northern Lights along the way.

This tour is flexible and allows for you to request a stop anywhere along the way to stretch your legs, take photos, or even just enjoy the views.

Pickup Time is completely customizable to work with your schedule!

This was a great trip. Scenic. Comfortable vehicle. Pit stops as needed. Good food at the roadhouse. Very interesting view into Alaska, the pipeline, and a way of life that is incredibly remote. People along this road are all looking out for each other. Road conditions vary from day to day a lot. Ian makes sure that it will be a safe trip by being prepared for anything. He made a stop to take in a great view that included a short walk thru tundra, which is a shocking experience in itself. He made many stops so we could watch the Aurora Borealis develop during the night and it was truly spectacular as it came to cover the whole sky. The only thing I wish were different would be that Ian could have notified us that he would pick us up at 3PM sooner than he did at 11AM same day. We had anxiety about the cost of the trip and since we had heard nothing at all, we worried that it was a scam. We didn't realize that Ian's work takes him out of communication very quickly and he is working most of the night, leaving almost no time to sleep and to send messages. Also, a small thing - I wish he would have cleaned the mud off the windows from the day before. You can't get this kind of experience anywhere else. It is worth the extra cost over the group van tours. Ian makes sure that it is a wonderful trip.

THE highlight of the entire trip and of yhe whole year! Ian was phenomenal! He does this every day but gets excited each and every time. He has so much knowledge of Alaska. We stopped at the most scenic places and even some "secret" look out areas. Do not think of going to the Arctic Circle any other way than with Ian!

Ian is a fantastic guide! He picked us up at our hotel, and was so friendly, kind and knowledgeable about all things Alaska. He is an experienced driver and made us feel very comfortable with his ability to keep us safe. He also gave us every opportunity to take photos and make stops along the way. We saw the most incredible double rainbow over the Yukon River. As it got dark, it was fairly cloudy, but at one point the clouds parted and the Aurora was visible. He was as excited to see the lights as we were. You absolutely cannot go wrong by going on this trip with Ian as your guide!
