Private Arctic Circle Expedition from Fairbanks

Przegląd
This is a small, private tour to the Arctic Circle. Passengers will be riding in a comfy 2025 Toyota Sequoia and brand new winter tires.

Scheduling on the website is a bit tricky and doesn't allow for next day returns, just keep in mind the trip will take 10-12 hours depending on weather and how much time you'd like to spend at each location.

We'll be travelling through mountain passes, river valleys, and possibly seeing the Northern Lights along the way.

This tour is flexible and allows for you to request a stop anywhere along the way to stretch your legs, take photos, or even just enjoy the views.

Pickup Time is completely customizable to work with your schedule!

Ian picked us up at our hotel around 5pm and we headed to the Dalton Hwy. We had a nice drive north, stopping at a camp for a great dinner. It was misting before our stop, but at the Yukon River we saw a double rainbow. We continued up the Arctic Circle, arriving around midnight. We had a few stops along the way for sightseeing, still cloudy. Around 1 am on our way home, the sky cleared and we were delighted with the most awesome aurora display. Ian is a great guide. Very experienced, all the right equipment on his vehicle, well informed on the geology, nature and most importantly the aurora. I will definitely hire him again on my next adventure north of Fairbanks. Highly recommend.

Ian picked us up from our cabin. He was very friendly, kind, smart, and Incredible knowledgeable about all things Alaska and Artic Circle. This drive is intense and long and He will provide as many breaks as you need. The Aurora Borealis were defused by the clouds and yet we could still see there green wonder. Ian took us to every possible site to see them. We also saw a lot of roaming wildlife and became part of history of being a part of the 10, 000 who go up a year. If you are up for this adventure Ian has to be your guide! He is the best. FYI. He's real smart you'll learn a lot VOTE of Ian whenever he decides to run for office.. this is not necessarily his dream but our conviction that our country needs him.

Didn’t get to go on this trip. The tour guide cancelled first for sept 2 nd due to issues with double booking with Viator. After exchanging several email Ian Lee was able to accommodate us for sept 4 th trip. The morning of the trip we received email that there was double booking again with Viator and asked to adjust with 2 more people for the trip. We accommodated to it. One hour before the trip we received another email stating that trip was cancelled due to tour guide’s family emergency. Please make sure to check with the guide about the double booking as it seems to be a frequent issue.

Hello, I do apologize for the inconvenience that was caused. I've changed my booking process from automatic to review only recently which will prevent future double bookings. I'm still working on sorting through ones that have already been booked, but I did miss yours and I do apologize for that. -Ian
