Picked up within 10 mins of arriving, lovely clean car with complementary bottles of water. Driver was extremely pleasant and helpful. Will definitely use this service again in the future.

It is unfortunate that TripAdvisor doesn't have a zero rating for when a supplier provides nothing at all! Because this was our first visit to SFO and we had an arrival time just before midnight we decided to treat ourselves with a limo service to our hotel. I booked the service many weeks ago and confirmed the booking as required. After collecting our luggage I noticed a Voicemail and rang Carmel Limos as requested to discover our service had been cancelled. No solution was offered nor a refund. I was told they tried to contact me around 4pm (we were on the flight). Given they had 7 hours before our arrival I would have assumed the company would have the capacity to find another car and driver but no.

Arrived after an 11 hour flight (delayed 30 minutes) and proceeded to get stuck in security for 3 hours. In this time our driver was long gone and couldn’t come back. I thought this was extreme but just about reasonable as they can’t wait all day but then I found out that wait times isn’t unusual. I booked and disclosed my flight number so it shouldn’t be impossible to track the progress of the flight get notified when it lands and build in the average security tome or just have the customer phone when through customs. I just feel as though there is a lack of common sense and airport savvy and judging by my experience they could do with being based closer to the airport because they are obviously not able to react quickly. I post my money and had to get an Uber instead. It was half the price and should have been plan A.
