the service TO JFK was superlative-the driver was early and the trip was smooth . The arrival in Phoenix...that's another story- Carmel contracts with local drivers, and seems not to do a good job in communicating. I got a call the nite before my trip that put me on edge-a driver arguing on the phone that he can't take the ride for Carmel at the price. quoted I really do understand people have to make $.
But it's up to Carmel to do this, AHEAD of time...and if the mistake is their fault (as it was here) to make yup the difference to that driver. Instead they left me stranded at the airport there (( a business trip) and it was not acceptable treatment Being an inveterate traveller, i resolved the problem with help of the local help desk at the airport. But I certainly would NEVER ever use Carmel where they don;'t have their own contracted drivers, such as NYC.
