Upon arrival at baggage claim, one parked car blocked two lanes of traffic and we had difficulty locating our driver who was amidst a car lot. Fortunately the Carmel dispatcher asked me what I was wearing and the driver waved us down--excellent identification advice. Our driver could not speak English but midway through our ride, he used another language and we were happy to communicate using our elementary-level second languages.
Service delivery as promised just needed to make a phone call at terminal to agree pickup.
Took a long time to get through to operator, on hold for 5 to 7 mins which can be expensive when on a roaming contract. Driver didn't think 15 tip for 80 fare was big enough so demanded more on arrival.
Having read so many negative reviews about the transporting Company Carmel it was a bit of a relief that soon after reporting our arrival in JFK a Taxi turned up at the appointed place. Sadly though we had only travelled a few miles when it broke down !! Admittedly a replacement eventually turned up but the situation was far from ideal.
