Captain Mike was absolutely amazing. We caught 4 halibut 1 pacific cod 6 silver salmon 10 pink salmon. We had an amazing day fishing!

Apex experience in fishing with Captain Mike and his company, The Alaska Catch. My son requested his 10th birthday gift of fishing in Alaska. Our 2021 dismal efforts we had deep sea fishing in California and Florida and regular fishing in Montana and Idaho leading up to Captain Mike made me pause for the commitment. Captain Mike single handedly raised our collective bar of expectations for professionalism and performance by and from fishing and hunting companies. The arrangements from beginning to end and beyond the trip to include the processing of our fish into frozen filets for air travel executed impeccably. Captain Mike and the Alaska Catch equipment is top tier and well maintained. The cleanliness of the equipment is first rate as well. Insofar as the trip itself, the weather conditions and Captain Mike's experience with timing of efforts to work the wind, tides, and our family strength as individuals and a group to fish is both an art and a science that Captain Mike synergistically maximized. Finally, Captain Mike is a great communicator of ideas, information and personal stories that will have your kiddos seeking out The Alaska Catch in the same manner as any rugged individual working to make Alaska their home or at least their summer work location. Hunting and fishing trips with my son and daughter before and since divorcing their Mom is our main recreational catalyst to create many great memories. My investment in those trips eclipsed every other financial commitment to catalyze our memory makers. Captain Mike and the Alaska Catch is the best investment of the nearly forty fishing trips we have taken over the last five years. A memorable quote from Captain Mike that I also used in my past profession: "I'm not a mind reader, so if you need anything at all, please talk to me so that we can take care of it." Captain Mike did a wonderful job on our Salmon fishing trip in Ketchikan Alaska. He made arrangements for us and moved some people around so we could go fishing. All around great captain. Highly recommended
