We had a stop in Ketchikan while on an Alaskan cruise on June 10,2016. We wanted our own boat for our family of 6- my husband and myself and our 4 sons ages 24-15. Captain Mike met us bright and early took us to the boat, went through safety protocol then we were on our way. He had snacks and drinks for us. He also provided waterproof jackets which came in handy. We caught our limit of 5 halibut and one rock cod. The salmon were not biting so, unfortunately, we did not get to send any salmon home but we got lucky with the halibut. We left the fish with him to take to a third party processor in town. We got the fish a few days after we got home and have been enjoying it for dinner the last 2 nights. I would highly recommend them if you get a chance to visit Ketchikan!!

My wife and I had a fantastic morning with Captain Mike. We were able to meet at the dock right where we had gotten off our cruise ship. We walked about 1 minute down to his boat and then were off to the sea to fish for halibut. He was very friendly, told some great stories and answered all our questions. He baited up our lines and we hooked into our first fish within 5 minutes of getting our lines wet. We caught multiple species including some nice halibut and even got to do some bald eagle viewing as we returned to the dock. Mike was very cognizant of our need to return to our ship on time and we were able to do so without any trouble. His local experience and connections put our experience over the top and we would highly recommend his service to everyone!

My husband decided he couldn't bypass a chance for fishing in Alaska during our cruise. While looking on TripAdvisor I found reviews for The Alaska Catch Fishing Charters. So glad I did! We were cruising with my brother and sister-in-law so we decided to all go fishing and have the boat to ourselves with Captain Mike. We reserved our time for May 27th. I had a couple questions beforehand and Captain Mike was always quick to respond and assure me that it was no problem. He met us right by our ship. It couldn't have been more convenient. His boat was super clean. He took us to a great place where we each caught our limit in halibut. He made sure we all felt confident with what we were doing. He also had snacks and hot chocolate for us. His personality couldn't be better. He could get along with anyone and you can tell he's doing what he loves most. He took care of getting our fish over to be processed after the trip and we just got it delivered today. Can't wait for the fish dinner! Hoping that we'll be able to go fishing with him again sometime. Thanks Captain Mike!
