We chartered with Captain Mike on two separate days the week of 5 September 2016 and caught amazing amounts of fish! He will do what it takes for you and your family to have a great time. This was my first Alaska fishing trip so I expected big seas, but because the fishing grounds are pretty sheltered with the islands it was really smooth...less than what I'm used to in Southern California! It did rain (its Alaska), so bring some rain gear and layers for warmth. His boat has a cabin and heater that can seat all, so even if the weather is bad there is a place to get warm. We had 4 big guys fishing and the boat has plenty of room. All tackle, bait and great memories were provided! Thanks again Captain Mike, I hope to make it back!

Our fishing trip with Captain Mike was full of success and adventure. There were 4 adults in our group and Captain Mike. He was waiting for us on the dock not far from our cruise ship, and returned us in time for our sail time. The ride out to our fishing spot was beautiful, we were treated to a very informative sightseeing trip, with lots of facts about Alaska and the Ketchikan community. As soon as Captain Mike got our poles all set the fun began. We caught our limit on Halibut and hooked a couple King Salmon's. Mike arranged for us to have our fish processed and shipped home. It arrived on the day scheduled, still frozen. We have enjoyed sharing our catch with family and friends, nothing better than fresh Alaskan's fish. Captain Mike was very personable and knowledgable, he also had drinks and snacks for us. We HIGHLY recommend The Alaska Catch Fishing Charters. Ask for CAPTAIN MIKE.

First family fishing trip in Ketchikan. This particular fishing trip was done on a few weeks of planning. Captain Mike was positive but honest about the Coho fishing being a bit slow this year. We met Mike at 7AM for a great day of fishing. The first hour started slow and we lost the first couple fish. The tide turned and the bite was on, even had a couple doubles which always creates some excitement. Mike was calm and handled the busy times efficiently. Its always good to have a captain that has some stories. Captain Mike kept us entertained and is a great guy to spend a day fishing. Thanks the Pungs! Stress is caused by not fishing enough!
