I had originally booked a snowshoe tour but there wasn't enough snow for that so we hiked. Luckily John had trekking poles because it ended up snowing the last couple hours of the hike and they were helpful in icy/snowy spots. I learned a lot about the history and ecology of the park and really enjoyed the customized hike in Tuolumne Grove admiring the giant sequoias and so much more. Another thing I'd like to add is the customer service from both John and Catherine were top notch. They answered all my questions before booking, after booking, and checked in how things were after the trip. I'll be singing the praises of this small/unique business to anyone I know heading out to Yosemite. I had an amazing time!

Terrific experience hiking Lembert Dome and Dog Lake with our guide Jay. He was experienced, friendly, helpful and informative. We enjoyed learning about the park and its history, and appreciated Jay's tips for where to stop on our drive to the hotel and things to see/do the next day. Catherine made thoughtful recommendations on the itinerary and provided exact directions to the meeting point. This was a perfect day in Yosemite!

Wow wow wow. Better than we hoped. Super fantastic guide. So knowledgeable and relaxed at the same time. Learned so much while enjoying out last day in Yosemite. Kids loved him too. John D was a star guide.
