Strictly Private Tours from Same Family or Group
A minimum of 2 / Maximum 3 passengers per helicopter. Groups of 4+ taken in multiple helicopters. Depending on availability, may take off at the same time.
Due to comfort and weight balance of the aircraft, passengers weights limit must not exceed 275lbs per person; 620lbs total. If weight restrictions are exceeded, we will cancel the tour and no refund will be given
A minimum of 2 seats must be purchased even if only 1 passenger wishes to travel; this is a private tour, and passenger groups are not mixed
Minimum age is 7 years, required to sit by a closed door. Ages 12 years and older may sit next to an open door.
ALL tours are Doors-Off (Except for passengers 7-11 years old)
Passengers must provide their own means of transportation to our office for check in.
Check in is 40 minutes prior. Late check ins will be considered as a no show and subject to full price.

We did not get to make this trip because of the weather. However, the young lady at the front desk was very courteous and helpful. When the call was made to cancel the flight she got on our refund quickly. We received a full refund without any hassle.

We did over the years tour by helicopter the big island and the islands of Maui and Kaua’i. The tours were operated by different companies and our recent flight over O’ahu was our first with Mauna Loa Helicopter Tours. All tours had their charming, but the tour over O’ahu was the most stunning and a real lifetime memory. What was different to the other tours and made it such an experience, were, among others, the open door flight, the privacy as we were only two passengers guarantiing “window” seats, the detailed and competent comments from the pilot. The Robinson is noisier then the Eurocopter, but that is fully compensated by the headset and the fun you have flying with doors off. Last but not least the value you get for your money is unbeatable, this compared to our 3 other flights.
