On May 14,2023 we arrived at JFK and were supposed to be picked up by Carmel. Reservation 14857577 We called the number given to us on our reservation and were told.to go to the destination point. We were told a driver would be there in 8 minutes. When the driver did not come after 10 minutes we called again and were told it would be 4 more minutes After several more calls and no driver we talked to a supervisor who told us they would not be able to provide a driver We had wasted an hour trying to get a ride. We called the company the next day to express our displeasure with their lack of service and were told someone would call us back No one ever did I wrote a letter to the President of the company 2 weeks ago and never got an answer. We had used Carmel in the past but will another car service in the future.

No usen esta compañía. Al llegar al aeropuerto JFK tardaron mas de media hora por nosotros. Una camioneta vieja y mal cuidada con un chofer que casi no hablaba inglés y manejaba muy mal, cerraba los ojos y parecia que se dormía. Pésimo y caro servicio. Uno de los cinturones de seguridad no servía. Nada que ver con las fotos que ponen en su página. Do not use this company. Arriving at JFK airport it took more than half an hour for us. An old and poorly maintained truck with a driver who hardly spoke English and drove very badly, closed his eyes and seemed to fall asleep. Terrible and expensive service. One of the seat belts was not working. Nothing to do with the photos they put on their web.

My wife and I arrived 45 minutes inbound JFK. We called and asked if driver could come early. He was there within 5 minutes of our call. Friendly and helpful.Similarly for our return trip. We had a 5am pick up time. The driver arrived exactly on time and again was friendly which at 5am is a feat. The cars were both clean and well kept. We do not understand the negative reviews as we did not experience any hassles whatsoever. Our calls to the service were handled politely and professionally. We offer this recommendation without accepting any premium.
