Our private surf lessons don't follow a cookie cutter approach. We plan to customize and mold the lesson to fit your needs and hopes for your surfing experience. We pride ourselves on having the highest - end surfing equipment in town and more importantly, our surf instructors are the kindest personalities on the central coast!

We believe a surf lesson is made great by the energy and expertise of a strong instructor, which is why we think you'll fall in love with surfing and our instructors on your surf lesson!

Easy to set up lesson, lesson was at Cayucus beach about 10 min form Morro Bay. Beautiful beach with good waves. Lesson was for my 16 yr old daughter who has had a little surf experience. Noah was her instructor and he was very professional and positive and made my daughter feel very comfortable. First part of the lesson is on land after getting in a wetsuit. Safety is a high priority and as a Mom I appreciated that. Instructions were clear to my daughter of what to do and not to do in the water. My daughter had a blast being in the water and said Noah made her feel comfortable. After this lesson Noah said she can rent a suit and board and try on her own. Noah also showed her an easier way to stand up on the board than she had originally learned. I highly recommend Noah and Cal Coast adventures for anyone to learn how to surf. My daughter had a blast and she’s can’t wait to get back in the water!

My son (age 12) and I had a great first surfing lesson with Taylor. We had fun and learned the basic skills to keep surfing on our own. Taylor is friendly, helpful, and a great instructor. We will be back for more lessons on our next trip to Moro Bay! I highly recommend Cal Coast Adventures.

Me and my partner had a beginner’s surf lesson with Noah. He was very helpful and provided instructions which were easy to grasp for us two first timers. He constantly gave feedback and tips for improving our technique. But most important of all: we had a great time with Noah who gave his class with a personal and humorous touch. Would recommend any time!
