Our private surf lessons don't follow a cookie cutter approach. We plan to customize and mold the lesson to fit your needs and hopes for your surfing experience. We pride ourselves on having the highest - end surfing equipment in town and more importantly, our surf instructors are the kindest personalities on the central coast!

We believe a surf lesson is made great by the energy and expertise of a strong instructor, which is why we think you'll fall in love with surfing and our instructors on your surf lesson!

We have used Cal Coast Adventures several times- and will continue to use them! My daughter is 6 and loves to surf! Most of our lessons have been with Noah who is wonderful with my daughter and a great instructor. He is professional and knowledgeable. He communicates well to make sure he is meeting our expectations. When she catches a wave, you can tell he is genuinely excited for her. It’s hard to have the energy to keep up with a 6 year old- but he always has a great attitude, is super friendly, and always energetic (all is needed to keep up with her!). He also always makes sure to interact with my younger daughter to make sure she feels included (even though she’s not doing lessons). We have had one lesson with Nate and he was the same way! We highly recommend this company and will continue to use them for trips to come. Thank you for making a part of my child’s childhood so memorable!

Noah was great! My son and I have never surfed (from WI). Noah made it easy and very un-intimidating. He was a great instructor and truly seemed to enjoy seeing us learn to surf!

Our experience was all around wonderful. We walked in to the storefront in Morro Bay to ask about lessons and immediately knew Nathan and his surf family were the ones we wanted to teach our 7 year old daughter how to surf. Warm, welcoming, kind and accommodating. The lesson with Noah was fantastic. He was patient, nice and really gets kids. He helped get our daughter stand up on her first wave - and almost every one after that for the entire lesson. He was just as excited for her as we were. Cannot recommend them enough!
