Experience some of the most notable and best-preserved archaeological sites in the United States. Mesa Verde encompasses over 80 square miles and protects over 5,000 archaeological sites, including the famous Cliff Palace and nearly 600 cliff dwellings, some of which are more than 800 years old. Tickets for Cliff Palace are an additional purchase.
When you book this tour you’ll sit back and relax while our experienced, knowledgeable archaeologist-trained guide takes you around the National Park. With your guide’s knowledge, you will be able to ask questions, read literature, and listen to your own customized tour of the park.

PLEASE NOTE: We are NOW OFFERING CLIFF PALACE with the tickets. All guides have been trained extensively by our in-house archeologists.
This tour requires a 2-person minimum. If minimums are not met a full refund will be given. *Gratuity not included*.

It's amazing to look at these remains of a culture from so many years ago and realize the people who lived here survived because of the elements, with the elements. The hosts were terrific.

Our guide was great, she knows so much about the history and anthropology that I noticed others kind of listening in to our conversations at the ruins! I had my teenage son with me and he was fascinated with the history of the ancestral Pueblans, kept his attention all day which says a lot. I did the Balcony House tour with the ladders and the tunnel and it gave me a hands-on perspective on these dwellings and what it must have been like to live there. Just a great, memorable trip!

The Mesa Verde Tour with tour guide Denise was the highlight of our Durango vacation!!! Her background in anthropology added so much to the tour, and we hung on to her every word. Definitely a day we will not soon forget! We met in downtown Durango to load our tour van. Nice vehicle and was glad to not have to drive. Lunch and ranger tour at Mesa Verde was included in the price. Denise took us to amazing sites all day and gave us lots of history and information. Thank you Denise and Durango Rivertrippers for an amazing day!!!
