We skip the highway and take advantage of the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway as we venture into the woodlands en route to some of the BEST waterfalls in Asheville! You'll leave with a stick in your hair and unforgettable memories.

My daughter and I went out for two days with Asheville Hiking Tours, the first to see the falls on the Parkway for a half day, which was lovely to do albeit very easy- so don’t do this one if you are looking for exercise. Very pretty falls and Katie was the best of company, full of stories about local history and knowledgeable on flower & fauna. The second was a full day strenuous hike to Douglas Falls in the Craggy Gardens with Bill. This was just an awesome hike down to the falls and back. It took nearly six hours- and we kept a steady pace. My legs were sore for days😂. Bill is a very experienced hiker and a volunteer who helps maintain trials for the likes of you and me. I hope I can remember most of what he taught us that day. We had such a good experience even if the weather didn’t cooperate, but we are Irish so well used to the fog and light rain. The lunch Jennifer provided was a God send! Healthy & delicious. Jennifer was quick to respond to my queries via email and so accommodating. What a great company! Would absolutely highly recommend them! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Jennifer took our family on the waterfall tour yesterday and we all had a great time! She was very knowledgeable of the history, wildlife and other interesting facts of the entire Asheville area. Our kids were 6, 9 and 10 and all ages had a blast! I would definitely recommend Asheville Hiking Tours!

Jennifer was a wonderful guide for our journey by passenger van from our hotel in Asheville along the Blue Ridge Parkway. She shared a lot of local history and clearly has a passion for educating others on the local flora and fauna. She is very welcoming and we felt like we made a new friend on our trip. We saw three waterfalls and really enjoyed the short and easy hike. Will look them up again the next time we visit Asheville to experience another adventure! Highly recommend this company as our experience was memorable and a good value.
