Półdniowa wycieczka jeepem po czerwonym kanionie

Przegląd
This interpretive 3-hour jeep tour departs from Canon City and meanders through bright red towering spires and monoliths sculpted by the erosion of the fountain formation. Your geological tour through time includes a short walk out to "Overlook Arch" and a up-close look at dinosaur footprints left over 107 million years ago. You will see where paleontologists have been removing dinosaur remains for over 140 years from one of the most famous digs in history along with ancient Indian petroglyphs.

This scenic tour is just one of the amazing locations we visit from our office in Cañon City. If this tour doesn't meet your needs, we most likely have one that does. We offer tours and packages from 3 hours to all day. Be sure to see our other listings for more options.

Canyon trip was both enjoyable and educational. Saw herds of deer and flocks of turkeys. Also received history lesson on area and saw old dinosaur tracks on skyline blvd. Had an amazing time

Ed was an amazingly informative tour guide. During the nearly 4-hour trip we learned about the area's geology, history, wealth of dinosaur remains, politics, you name it. Ed's information was clearly not a standard presentation but rather a natural manifestation of his study of and love for this region of Colorado. The ride was bumpy and dusty (and therefore not for everyone) but it provided a depth of understanding of the area (including its beauty and its flaws) that a conventional tour couldn't provide.

We were not sure what to expect from this tour of the canyon in Canon City. We drove from Cripple Creek to Canon City which took us 1 1/2 hrs. There were 7 of us on this trip. Our tour guide was Bart and he was great! He gave us history of the city along with our great tour of the canyon and mountains. We drove up into the mountains and saw ancient writing on walls and then dinosaur tracks, hiding places that were used by Native Americans and many many facts. This trip is definitely worth taking!!! Great job Bart!
