The Viator App allowed me to just show my phone to the driver & hop on. I bought a 2-day tkt & had 4 drivers, all of whom were excellent! Be aware the trolleys only hold 38 passengers & on busy days it filled up quickly! The drivers notified headquarters there were folks waiting so another trolley was sent out to pick them up.

Great was to get the lay of the land in a new city. I will definitely come back to spend more time in some of the areas I saw from the trolly - especially Balboa Park. Fun, interesting facts about the entire city.
