Started in Little Italy and only got off twice, as we have been to the other areas before. However, it was still enjoyable to ride through all the areas and have a different perspective. We got off in Old Town, which was a pleasant walk about. Stayed for only about an hour then we stayed on until we got to Coronado. Have never been there before in our previous three trips to San Diego. Drive over the bridge was a great view. Coronado was a great stop. Most of the people get off here. We strolled down the boardwalk, as far as we could go to the Navy Seal base. Thank you to the men and women in the service. As Canadians we value our Great American neighbor and their service people. Both our fathers were veterans of WWII so we grew up with an appreciation of the sacrifices of all our veterans.
The walk was beautiful and relaxing, except for the creeps who ignore the No Bicycles on the path. Don't get these selfish idiots? Would be nice if there was some enforement of this restriction.
We stayed about an hour on Coronado, and headed back. This being a busy stop was handled very efficiently by the tour company. They hand out numbers as you arrive. This eliminates the line jumpers and, again, people who have no manners or courtesy. As it worked out, everyone got on. We rode back to Little Italy. It was a very enjoyable tour. The trolley drivers provided excellent commentary throughout the tour. I highly recommend this tour, it covers most of the main areas to see in the city.
