I simply loved every part of this walking tour. Kathy was so informative about every aspect of the tour, that I felt I'd just sat through a history lesson and learnt so much in a fun way. She was friendly, inquisitive and knowledgable throughout the entire tour. She answered all our questions confidently and with ease and made us think about LGBTQ rights from another perspective. Given that they were only 4 people in our group, it gave us a more intimate feeling. I left the tour feeling enthused and more aware of who Harvey Milk was, what he stands for, how this is represented in Castro and how much further the world needs to go. I would highly recommend this tour. Not only a great way to meet other people, but also a great way to learn so much about such an important place. Thank you Kathy, just an amazing job!. Stephen!

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our Crusin' the Castro Walking Tour. It was easy to book and pay for in advance of our trip and the meeting place was easy to access. We had both been to the Castro several times, but the Tour gave us many new insights. We were part of a fairly large group on the day of the Tour and met interesting and diverse people. We were introduced to many of the rich elements that have gone into the formation of this vibrant corner of San Francisco and the historical factors that have made The Castro an emblematic location for LGBTQ people the world over, some or many of whom will never be fortunate enough to visit for themselves. The Castro stays with you when you leave for locations in the globe with many fewer freedoms and rights. It reminds LGBTQ people that these freedoms can and should be strived for personally and communally, no matter how difficult their situations may be. Kathy our guide was superb. She is a warm and sensitive individual with great insights into the Castro community and it's multi-facets. She made the Tour for us and she is doing a tremendous job in representing and promoting the Castro and it's emblematic status as a corner of the world where LGBTQ people can be inspired to hope and work for freedom and equality. Since there were several straight members of the Tour, it would certainly be an interesting option for any thoughtful San Francisco visitor. Thank you Kathy! Brendan and Nick

Excellent tour! We learned a great deal and enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide was very nice and answered any questions we had. It was great that she lived in the Castro and was able to provide information that only a local could provide. It is certainly worth your time to spend learning about a great neighborhood in San Francisco. We highly recommend this tour.
