Tours are fun, fascinating and offers twice as many tour stops that not only include the colorful sites of the largest LGBTQ community in the world, but explores the spectrum of sexual and gender diversity and the struggle with achieving equal rights in America.   No other tour offer this rare and educational opportunity!

Firstly ,Kathy the tour leader is so lovely, friendly and informative you'll want to spend a couple of hours with her, learning about the Castro ! You find out how the area 'came out' in the 70s, the tragic 80s Aids epidemic, important people in gay SF history,and much more, as you enjoy a laugh or two along the way too. I think anyone who is interested in human rights will benefit from this easy going tour.

Kathy was great! Informative, fun and certainly approachable! There are so many things that you might normally walk by and think nothing of it. (The Triangle park was hiding in plain site). Our group met at the base of the flag and off we went for 2+ hours of learning about and standing in the very spots that history had been made. While on our tour several locals who know Kathy would say hi to our group. This gave me more of a feeling that we were really on the "in" with the locals and people of the Castro district. There is so much more to the Castro than sitting in a bar...get out there and learn something!
