Tours are fun, fascinating and offers twice as many tour stops that not only include the colorful sites of the largest LGBTQ community in the world, but explores the spectrum of sexual and gender diversity and the struggle with achieving equal rights in America.   No other tour offer this rare and educational opportunity!

Tours are conducted by a local resident, professional tour guide and a civil rights activist.

If you are interested in History and the LGBT movement and how it has impacted a neighborhood this is the tour for you! Lots of information from a wonderful guide, Kathy. She was very personable and fun and knowledgeable about the history of The Castro!

My friends and I were in SF for the weekend, we stayed in the Castro and of course we 'd like to know more about the Castro. We chose Cruisin' The Castro Walking Tours that was led by Kathy. Kathy was amazing, she was very informative and knew her history of the Castro and the LGBT movements past and current very well. We thoroughly enjoyed her tour and would recommend it to many of our friends :D

Kathy who led the tour had a wealth of knowledge of the Castro and it's history. She's also clearly a big contributor to the local community judging by the number of people who said hello as the tour progressed. This is a great way to learn the history of the Castro, a slice of the equal rights history and an insight into where to go for drinks after. I would recommend watching the Film Milk before the tour although it's not essential
