Savannah Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil Opowiadana piesza wycieczka

Przegląd
Enjoy a small-group (15 guests maximum) deep dive into all things Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil! Led by a veteran journalist and long-time downtown Savannah resident, the two-hour tour provides the back-stories and up-close-and-personal insights into author John Berendt's book, director Clint Eastwood's movie of the same name, and the rich Savannah history surrounding them both. You'll stop at several sites where the story unfolds, including the Hamilton-Turner Inn, Clary’s Cafe, and Mercer-Williams House; you'll also get the scoop on the story's unique array of characters, from Jim Williams to Minerva to Joe Odom to Nancy Hillis to Moe Fetzer -- and everyone in between!

Martin was great! Very knowledgeable on the story of Jim Williams and the facts and fiction of the book and movie. He added additional tid bits about Savannah which kept the tour even more intriguing. I would definitely recommend this tour, especially if you’ve read the book and/or have watched the movie. We were able to tour the Mercer House (separate tour) directly after the tour with Martin which just made the “Midnight” experience complete.

Very enjoyable and informative. Great to see all of the places and experience some of the locations firsthand. Would have been nice to go by Club One where Lady Chablis performed. We went and saw an amazing drag show.

The tour was wonderful and well worth the money! Brandon was engaging, funny and full of facts and accurate information about Savannah. Don't get me wrong. I love the entertaining stories they tell on other touristy tours, but I appreciate true stories and history too! There are several tours you can choose from but we chose the Dark History Tour. I will definitely be doing this again when I come back with my family!
