Jose did a wonderful job, you can tell He is very passionate about the culture/history of Sante Fe and loves sharing it with people. Each dish was excellent and the wine pairings truly complimented as well. You can tell they really put thought and effort into making the experience excellent. We will definitely do again when we come back to Sante Fe.

Nick, our guide, described this tour as one where they have curated unique restaurants and dining experiences. That description is spot on. 3 courses, 3 glasses of wine, all delicious. They were able to accommodate a pescatarian, which I really appreciated. We started at Julia’s in La Posada, an interesting restaurant with several small rooms to eat in. On the menu: posole, a pork and hominy stew. I has some salmon with “3 sisters,” a mix of black beans, corn and zucchini. Excellent. We then walked to Sante Cafe, a beautiful upscale restaurant off the beaten track — lamb for the carnivores (they loved it) and mushroom tortellini in dashi for me. Last was Sassela, a local Italian favorite where the chef is very creative. Dessert was a panettone bread pudding with pumpkin gelato. The chefs stopped by to meet us at two of the locations, and Nick was a wealth of knowledge. Small group (only 4), so we felt very safe. Highly recommended.
