Walk, talk and taste your way through historic Charleston South Carolina. This small-group 2.5-hour tour will immerse you in the history and culture of the Lowcountry and allow you to experience a remarkable culinary scene in downtown Charleston. Stops along the way will include many of the city’s leading restaurants through out the city. Typical tastings include: stone ground grits, Southern pralines, sweet tea, collard greens, Lowcountry barbeque, and fried green tomatoes.

***PLEASE NOTE: If there are any food allergies in your party, we must know at least 48 hours in advance or some restaurants may not be able to accommodate. We also can't guarantee there will be a substitution at every location due to some allergies.

We had a great time on our tour! Karen Dixie was a wonderful guide and the food was delicious! Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Charleston for the first time.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the walking food tour with Fran. It was exciting to go from one place to another to taste different foods. Everything we had was wonderful and we were literally stuffed by the end of the tour.

Faith was such an amazing story teller and gave us such a wonderful tour- I would highly recommend. We had a great group of travelers from all over the country and it was a delight to sample all the delcious foods. The food tour locations change all the time but we had a wonderful time walking around the residential district and sampling shrimp and grits, hushpuppies, she crab soup, beignets, hand rolls, pimento cheese, chocolates, biscuits and all the sweet tea we could consume! My most favorite after the food was all the history and meeting so many wonderful people!
