Pomnik Narodowy Castle Clinton
4
Castle Clinton National Monument
For more than 200 years, The Battery has been an invaluable part of New York City’s history. Decades before Ellis Island was built or the Statue of Liberty gazed down at incoming boats, millions of newcomers arrived at The Battery from Europe and elsewhere.
5
Statue of Liberty
[Pedestal visit is not included] Its most notable feature is the Statue of Liberty, a large statue by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi that was dedicated in 1886.
6
Ellis Island
Ellis Island was the busiest immigrant inspection and processing station in the United States. After welcoming more than 12 million immigrants to our shores, Ellis Island is now a poetic symbol of the American Dream.

My girlfriend and I were visiting New York for the first time and since we don’t have family in the city we decided to take a tour for our visit to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Luckily we got a great tour guide, Matt, who was very informative and charismatic. He answered all of our questions and recommended some places in the city and our next stop in Boston, MA. We highly recommend anybody that wants to visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island to take this tour. You won’t regret it!

We did the tour with Kyle, we had a very good experience. He had very clear English, easy to understand. In addition to telling us the story of the statue of liberty and the island of immigrants, he gave us very interesting and detailed data, he also took pictures of us. The only thing to note is that this tour does not come with the ferry to the island, so you have to buy it separately.
