I know the Village pretty well so I was somewhat surprised to hear untrue information coming out of our tour guide’s mouth. While gracious she made no bones about the fact that this was a job she had little to no interest in and was doing it to pay her bills. She was just spitting out an incorrect script she’d been given. I suggested reading material but it was abundantly clear she had zero interest, I get it, But I couldn’t help feeling sorry for the other group members, on their first trip to NYC, who walked away with utterly false information,

I'm sorry, we have no record of you attending one of our tours. This doesn't sound like any of our guides and I find it curious you don't name the guide. Perhaps you mistakenly found our page and are just reviewing an experience for another company. We only hire people who are passionate about the city and its history -- none of our guides make up facts or say they have no interest in the tours we give. All of our guides are also licensed by NYC. Perhaps you could clarify the review with what company you booked with, the incorrect facts given, the guide who gave the tour.....honestly anything that could help clarify this review.

Our guide was Percy, who arrived promptly and made us all feel very welcome. Got a great insight into the area and the history and learnt and saw things that you would never pick up yourself, even great coffee stop!

Our tour guide Percy and the animation in his voice as he narrated along the walk. He made sure we maximized our time to see and hear a lot in our tour.
