I REALLY REALLY wanted to love this tour!
But, I didn't.
I was so excited for it prior to leaving for Sedona from Canada. The name of the tour indicated a "Seven Canyons Sunset Tour." This made it sound like an epic adventure with opportunity to photograph some of those seven canyons, and the amazing natural beauty that Sedona has to offer.
The positioning of this tour vs. what was delivered aren't congruent at all. This was more of a florist's/botanist's guide to Sedona vs. a SEVEN CANYONS TOUR AT SUNSET.
We drove a long time down a rough road, chatted about flowers and plants, in fact the guide chatted a LOT. Like, sometimes a bit of silence from time to time is ok. Don't get me wrong, he was so knowledgable, it was amazing. But, I didn't come for a field guide on plants, I came for the canyons.
In the end we stopped once to talk about a log cabin and take some pictures there.
Conversely, I took a tour of canyons in Utah today that was mindblowing.
This. Was not. I hate to leave a negative review, I really do. But, money's money, and you need to deliver on how you're positioning it. And I feel that you didn't.
One man's opinion. But, I left disappointed.
