It was great to skip the ticket line and enter aboard the ship. My family was so excited to visit the USS Midway. The whole day was exciting.

When I purchased the tickets I SPECIFICALLY asked when they closed the tours because I wanted to make sure with all our plans to be able to complete all we wanted to do and found they closed at 5:00 pm! We went when there wasn’t many people so that was great, it allowed us to go and see what we wanted but we’re rushed out the door after purchasing souvenirs. The museum is great for kids. The audio tour is awesome. Loved the staff! Having them experience the real deal was nice to ask questions. They were the best part! Nice guys.

The USS Midway Museum was an amazing trip. My kids loved being able to go in to all the different areas and play around. The staff is amazing and we’re more than happy to answer questions or explain to the kids what everything they were looking at was. The movie about the USS Hornet and USS Yorktown was a great experience, made me feel extremely proud but also sad. The flight deck has so many different jets, planes, and helicopters and a free guided tour of the ships bridge. I recommend this to anyone visiting the beautiful city of San Diego.
