I loved the Air boat tour
Although the Oak Alley plantation was beautiful the Laura Plantation was better.
The tour guide at Laura made the difference.
The food was great!
would recommend to my friends.
The airboat ride was very exciting. We saw an alligator or two, and the swamp was quite beautiful I it's own way. Our van driver was personable and interesting. The two plantations were each interesting and lovely. Lunch was very good.
Tour operator did a wonderful job. Out guide was a New Orleans native and helped us understand the culture so much better than we anticipated. The swamp boat was a better choice for us (rather than the air boat) because we got to see lots of alligators. We thought two plantations would be the same. We were wrong. The contrasts really helped us understand Louisiana history. Don't set your expectations too high for the meal though. All-in-all, we found this to be well worth the price, and recommend it highly.
