Great great time during this day. Great guided touts of Lauraplantation and Houmas House. Excellent typical lunch buffet. Attention, this one is at Houmas and not Oak Alley as said in the Viator Ad ! Airboat ride was great too. And all that with Steve from tours by Isabelle that drive us and gave us such good commentaries.

Really good trip. I was hesitant due to the cost but I would do it again. We were picked up at our hotel at 8am, our driver told us interesting facts while we drove to the airboat tour. That part was a lot of fun and the airboat captain put a lot of effort into getting close to alligators. If I come back I will look into a longer airboat ride! Next onto Laura plantation, tour has air conditioning inside of the house and we were in small groups of around 10 people. Then onto Houmas House. We first had lunch there with a buffet that was really good and they provided soft drinks, it was indoors and had AC. This house is very elegant. At the end of each tour we had a few minutes to ourselves before meeting back at the van. Check out the gardens outback! They have peacocks and chickens and ponds you can walk around. The van we were in was nice, 4 rows of 3 seats, maybe 4 seats in the last row. We could keep our belongings in the van when we were out. Steve, the driver was an unexpected surprise! He knew so much about the area and food. After the tour we walked around and found some of the restaurants he talked about. He also told us we could go inside a church we were staying next to so he benefited the rest of our stay!
