It wasn’t really the tour’s fault and my tour guide was great but it was not something I enjoyed. Tortilla Flats was a little place (like maybe 2 city blocks long) and the “ghost town” was actually a replica built in 1984 and was nothing to write home about. Especially the burger at the steakhouse (although the fries were really good). The steamboat was ok but not spectacular and definitely not great enough to make the other 2 sites worth it. I felt overall it was a wasted day of my vacation.

Beautiful lake and scenery. The tour guide was truly knowledgeable. We saw a lot of nice scenery. Drive was interesting

Jennifer, our guide, did a fabulous job. Very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. It was a very small group, 7 on a bus that held 13. The “BUS”. Happy it was not full. Not a lot of leg room for long legged people. I totally understand why the windows are tinted due to the brilliant sun but it does make it difficult to take pictures especially since you spend a lot of time on the bus. The best scenery was from The Dolly Steamboat. Beautiful trip around Canyon Lake. Saw eagles and big horn sheep as long as you had good eyesight. Definitely take your binoculars if you have them. I wish I had mine. The 2 stops we made were basically for the shopping enthusiasts. Not me, ‘cuz I would rather have seen more of the mountains. I would recommend this excursions for those that do not have their own transportation and want to get out and see some of the sites.
