The 5-star rated small-group Colorado River kayak & Emerald tour is operated less than 1-hour self-drive from the Las Vegas Strip. Departing at 7, 9 & 10 am & 12.30 pm. This 4-mile tour along Black Canyon is suitable for all skill levels/ages and will be at a relaxed pace with no more than 12 people in your group. On your trip, you’ll see caves, stunning scenery and you may even spot big horn sheep or an eagle. We have the most experienced guides on the river that will keep you safe and entertained throughout the trip with historic facts. With stops to rest/swim and we provide snacks. Be sure to bring your camera for memories that will last a lifetime! This company is Veteran owned & operated and only use USA-made Kayaks. We guarantee it will be the best thing that you do whilst in Las Vegas! Note: Tandem kayaks available for small children & disabled Veterans. Please note - the 7am departure requires a minimum of 4 passengers to book **

We had a great few hours with Grif on the river and visiting Emerald Cave . We'd arranged for a 2-seater kayak and that worked perfectly for us. There was quite a bit of wind on our day and he guided the 6 of us in his group to make the trip enjoyable and safe. We booked directly with Veterak Kayaks rather than via TripAdvisor and drove ourselves to the meeting point from Vegas (about 60 minutes at 7.30am). Highly recommended.

Griff was a great guide! His love for kayaking, history of the river, and the great outdoors shined through. We had so much fun. It was an awesome adventure and would definitely do it again.
