The 5-star rated small-group Colorado River kayak & Emerald tour is operated less than 1-hour self-drive from the Las Vegas Strip. Departing at 7, 9 & 10 am & 12.30 pm. This 4-mile tour along Black Canyon is suitable for all skill levels/ages and will be at a relaxed pace with no more than 12 people in your group. On your trip, you’ll see caves, stunning scenery and you may even spot big horn sheep or an eagle. We have the most experienced guides on the river that will keep you safe and entertained throughout the trip with historic facts. With stops to rest/swim and we provide snacks. Be sure to bring your camera for memories that will last a lifetime! This company is Veteran owned & operated and only use USA-made Kayaks. We guarantee it will be the best thing that you do whilst in Las Vegas! Note: Tandem kayaks available for small children & disabled Veterans. Please note - the 7am departure requires a minimum of 4 passengers to book **

Captain G is a fantastic guide. Along with jaw-dropping view, he pointed out to us the emerald cave, the cracks and crevices in which the bats lived, wasps nest, an eagles nest, and bighorn sheep. It was a magical day on the river. Recommend checking National Recreation guidelines on which days do NOT have motorcraft as that will be way more pleasant. We picked this tour because it caters to smaller groups, so that along with no speedboats nor jet skis made this a relaxing, incredible experience.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a lovely review. We appreciate your custom and I’m glad you had a fab time with G out there. For anybody reading this the 2 days mentioned that do not allow any boats with engines on the river are Sundays and Mondays. Also no boats over 60hp or jet skis are allowed where we operate from Labor Day though to Memorial Day. Our group size is capped at 10-12 depending on what time tour you take. October to march group sizes tend to be from 4-6 people.

Captain G is the absolute BEST! This is a must do if visiting the area, so gorgeous, peaceful and fun. Captain G is so knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to share his knowledge and point out all wild life.

This was such a great day! Our tour guide Brett was so much fun! He made our trip “bloody amazing!” It was like we were kayaking with a friend! We def recommend this tour if you’re looking for a fun and relaxing time! - Minnesota Girls
