The falls were beautiful and Mt Hood was stunning. Shahn, our guide, shared the geological history and economic significance of the region in a personal and meaningful way that added to the tour wonderfully.

We spent the entire day with Shahn - we had an amazing time. He was very knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. We learned so much about each of the stops - we would park (close by every time) and then he would spend time telling us of the history, recent events, etc. - so much so that frequently other visitors would slow down or stop to listen in as well. If you want an opportunity to take in the sights of the falls, the mountains, the dam (and the fish), Timberline and the parks, while learning the entire time, I would highly recommend Sea to Summit and Shahn!
