Przegląd

You enter the water and, after a short surface swim, descend on a condemned pier that has transformed into a vibrant reef. Schools of fish surround the wreckage that has accumulated colorful corals and sponges.

Turtles swim all around in organized chaos as you search for camouflaged frogfish, making it hard to decide where to look. You follow your instructor as they lead you through the obstacle course of the wreck, swimming under and through the old dock where you spot a pregnant reef shark resting under a section of cement and pause to admire her beauty. As you make your way back to your starting point you focus on the multitude of turtles that gracefully soar through the clear water.

Gu (Gustavo) was an excellent guide - very informed and passionate about the area and marine life. The dive shop is conveniently situated ans it was an easy walk to the Mala wharf - this was my favorite dive all week. Highly recommended.

We had a great dive with ‘Gu’. He did a great job describing the dive at the shop helped the 4 of us suit up and off we went. Our dive last 55 minutes and we got to see lots of marine life turtles white tipped sharks a ray and lots of fish. It was a great dive for us since we hadn’t been in the water for a number of years.

The collapsed Mala pier was super fun spot. Lots of turtles! Huge schools of fish! Great people and Abby was knowledgeable, laid back, and just plain fun to be around. Her enthusiasm for diving was apparent and it made it fun. I hadn’t dived in a few years and it was very easy to ask her questions. Great prices, great offshore dive!
