I am not a JFK conspirarcy theorist, but a friend picked up on the Strange True Tours' Lee Harvey Oswald walking tour....sounded interesting. We met Jeffrey in a park...a colorful tatooed character in a tattered straw hat. There were 4 of us on the tour. He was very nice as we started our tour (immediately stopping for water when we asked). And he proceeded to give us the best tour of downtown New Orleans, via the life of Lee Harvey Oswald...including extremely well researched views that Lee Harvey was set up. Did I totally buy the incredible web of conspirarcy that Jeffrey wove as we walked from the warehouse district to the French quarter, exploring all the touchpoints of Lee Harvey's lift? It does not matter. What a storyteller!

The Strange True Tours are a MUST in New Orleans. My husband and I went on the City of the Dead Cemetery Tour early this June and had a fantastic time. Our tour guide, Jeff, has vase knowledge on the history of New Orleans, the cemetery and spine tingling tid-bites on current day ghost stories. We’ve been on several different tours all over the place, but Jeff from the Strange True Tours Company gave us the best tour to date and was 10x better than any run of the mill, overcrowded tour. Jeff is well-spoken, friendly, and respectable of the city and cemetery patrons. He even customized our tour when the heat in the cemetery was too much for me. Many other tours are not so accommodating and the extra consideration goes along way. Thanks Jeff for a memorable tour!

With all the tours offered in New Orleans, I am so glad I found Strange True Tours. Jeffrey made our vacation so much more memorable! We went on not one, not two, but three different tours with him, and each one was fantastic. We did the Bike Tour and learned so much about New Orleans. Also after the bike tour we felt so much more comfortable navigating the city. Ghost tour was the next one we did. The Stories were great and we really got a history lesson as well. Last we did the cemetery tour. This was also a great history lesson. What I believe really made these three tours better than some of the others I have been on was Jeffrey. He really loves what he does and he shows it. He is enthusiastic, knowledgeable and very respectful of New Orleans and its past. He treated us more like friends than customers and when we return to New Orleans we will be going on another tour with him.
