This was a great experience for my wife and I, but there are some things that are not mentioned in here that I think are important to consider.
1) You will not see the Sun rise from below the horizon on this. It will rise well before you get in the balloon.
2) The balloon ride is actually closer to 30-45min. While the whole experience is 4 hrs, that includes from pick up in vans to drop off at the same location.
3) The basket is very large, so it won't be a romantic and private by any means
We got picked up in 2 large vans, then spent probably 30 minutes driving to a couple locations for them to test the wind. Once they got the right spot with the right wind reading, they started unloading the balloon from their trailer. This is when the Sun rose. They then proceeded to put it together and blow it up. This part probably took an hour. Once it's all done, we get in and go for a hot air balloon for probably 30 minutes. Once we touched down, some of the crew worked on taking apart the balloon and the others worked on setting up for breakfast. Then we ate breakfast, which was a small personal quiche, a 50 cent coin sized Jimmy Dean sausage patty, a slice of pound cake, and mimosas. Then we were presented with certificates and also given the chance to buy some souvenirs. That whole part probably took 1.5 hours. Then 20-30 minutes back to the place they picked us up with the vans.
All that said, it was really cool seeing them put the balloon together, and we did get to go inside the balloon itself while it was getting blown up which was really cool. I'd recommend it, but also would do a different experience if I ever do another hot air balloon ride.
The crew was fun
