As you endeavor to take on an activity with which you aren't exactly familiar with from a participant standpoint, hesitation enters your mind. With that, a bit of fright enters your soul as you examine the enormity of it. You press the button to make that purchase because you know that you can do it and that you have wanted to give it a try. You are now the owner of a trip into the sky.
Fear grabbed me, just a bit, as I thought about all of the possibilities of taking a balloon ride into the air. It couldn't be any worse than a roller coaster. I've been on tons. I gotta do it!!!
The reservation made, the morning trip to the meeting point, the lighting in the distance all said, "what am I doing?". We checked in and waited. We watched as other balloons around us set up and took off. We participated in our balloon getting set up. Of course ours took longer because it is the largest in the U.S. Everyone likes status. Is bigger a bit scarier?
As we all entered our place into the basket, we stood, listened to the heated air entering above us and felt that first lift. Most everyone sucked in a bit of air as we took off. In a very short time, we were in the air.
What a change of thought as we rose. Peaceful and calm entered nearly everyone's faces as we looked around.
Arizona Balloon Safaris took EXCELLENT care of us and helped us know everything that was going on. The crew all knew their places. They explained everything and had answers to all of our questions. Having the biggest balloon around made it even more fun to listen to them as they have status.
Don't even think of going in a small balloon when you have the option. It is so nice to float around with a big group of people and enjoy all of the reactions around you. DO IT and enjoy!
