My husband (a non-photographer) booked this excursion for us because while we like nature, we had limited time and interest in ATV tours or kayaking. So, we went on recommendation from the local visitor center as well as reviews on tripadvisor. This was a FABULOUS experience for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our accommodations and Jody is amazing. She knows all about and is proud of her home state and city. She knows great locations and went to great lengths to help us get awesome shots. We felt like we had a private tour since it was only one other guest with us. We visited multiple sites we would not have seen otherwise. Jody was completely prepared for every situation and kindly offered everything from wet wipes to lens cleaner and snacks with hot beverages to boot! We found the information gained to be of great value as we continued our trip through Alaska. Many people have commented on the high quality photos I posted to social media as a result of her camera advice and knowledge. I would highly recommend this for those who have DSLR or cell phone cameras. We had quite a memorable excursion.

Jody was our guide and had some great suggestions to really capture the scenery. Small group size enabled easy Q&A and ability to customize to each persons wants and skills. We had all different skill levels on our trip but I think everyone had a great time. Perfect customer focus and TLC.

Jody Overstreet, our guide, was wonderful. She's a lifelong Alaskan so she has great information on Anchorage as well as other parts of Alaska. During our tour we also got a brief history lesson which I loved. Her photography tips were extremely helpful, she nudged my brain from using auto everything to switching my camera to manual. End result phenomenal pictures! She picked me up at the hotel, we had one other tourist, then we were off. Jody supplied tripods and hot chocolate when it got chilly! Wear comfy shoes and dress in layers. Tour was approximately 4 1/2 hours. When I return to Anchorage I will definitely sign up for another tour.
