We get views of the wildlife of the salt marsh that people almost never have an opportunity to see. We sail daily from April until October so we always know where we are likely to see the most interesting birds and with 25 years of experience running these tours we know where we are likely to have the best trip. Our route varies daily depending on conditions.

Robert and Patti know very well the birds of the region and the places they frequent. In addition, they offer us a lot of information about the region, its fauna, flora, its economy, the issues that residents face. Nice enthusiastic guide with a lot of knowledge. The boat was a disappointment. You had to sit inside most of the time. This made the distance to nature far too great. With an open boat the rating would have been 5 stars. Shame.

I'm glad you enjoyed the nature part of the trip. I'm not sure how to answer regarding the boat not being open. people generally don't remain seated and often make use of the open front deck. every window on the boat opens. there is a roof but other than removing that I'm not sure how much more open we could be.
