While visiting, cross ‘learning how to surf’ off your to-do list! Learn surf techniques, safety rules and surf-break etiquette under the guidance of certified lifeguards and surf instructors. Choose either a small-group or private lesson, or if surfing isn’t up your alley, try stand-up paddleboarding instead! A bit easier than surfing, it’s still a great way to enjoy the beach while you’re on Oahu.

We had three surfers, each with a private lesson (so individual instructor per person). The private lesson and surfing was awesome! They were very good about explaining what to do and how to do it and everyone was able to surf during the hour. Our instructors did a great job getting us where we needed to be and encouraging us throughout the process. It was exhausting (make sure you're in shape!), but so worth it and definitely a bucket list item!

Went with my son and we both had a great experience. We got excellent instruction on land and even more so out in the water. The instructors were helpful providing ongoing coaching as well as wave selection and a little boost to catch the waves. We were exhausted so the instructors grabbed our boards with their toes to help pull us back out and catch more waves. We had a great morning and would highly recommend them. Will definitely use them again when we return to Oahu.

Fantastic! I was a bit nervous for my 4 kids but didn’t need to be. The staff were excellent, positive and encouraging. They did a great job and helped my kids feel comfortable and have a great experience. Beautiful spot; good waves. Totally recommend.
