Your guide and conquistador will be cartoonist, writer, and storyteller Sam Richardson who has many years experience guiding tours. The tour is dog friendly and is offered daily with a reservation. Cool, very informative, much more interesting then I was expecting for sure

Due to our visit in October, on a rainy day during off season, we ended up with a private tour. We learned about the history of Taos and walked within a few blocks of the town square. It was informative and interesting and have us a general historical understanding of the city.
We felt that it was well worth the reasonable price for this overview of the area.

-Taos Historic Downtown Walking Tour

Our guide was Lisa. She is amazing very knowledgeable about the history of Taos, and New Mexico in general. We enjoyed learning about Taos. We also enjoyed visiting the St Francis de Asis Church, where we even got to see Aztec dancers celebrating a special ceremony. We had a great time and we loved all the places where she took us, especially, The Rio Grande Gorge, for which we will always have a special place in our hearts because WE GOT ENGAGED THERE!
We definitely recommend Turquoise Tours. If you want a great tour with knowledgeable guides at a great price, definitely book this tour.
