Our tour guide, Tom, was absolutely wonderful. He knew so much about the Salem area and about the history of this wonderful town. He was able to inform us a lot that we didn't know prior, tell us stories about the area and the famous witch trials, along with the fact that Tom is a practicing witch (along with some of the other tour guides) who takes a lot of the myths about witches away!
He told us a lot about what being a witch means and what they do, what they believe in, and that they are NOT scary as portrayed in the movies and on TV. They believe in peace for all, happiness for all, and bad for none. He was very informative and a really nice guy.
We visited multiple stores in Salem, the witch trials memorial, a graveyard, and walked down Essex Street. Tom also showed us how a witch ritual takes place and it was very calming.
Tip your tour guides, they do a great job! A must do in Salem!
