Better than Empire State Building! Less queues, easier ride up, great experience overall and we LOVED meeting Santa!

Having viewed at night we went during the day and loved it. Especially the outside levels. We exchanged our voucher for a time slot of 10am. Remember to go a view days prior to book the times lot then simply walk past the massive queue to the front. Thanks to viator....

We reserved a time slot allowing two hours until we had be downstairs at the ice rink - everywhere we looked online said this would be sufficient even if it was busy. Well let me tell you it was not - it took 45 minutes from starting to queue till we reached the observation deck, we were forgiving as we expected this a little at peak time (16:30-17:00) however once we got to the observation deck there was a gigantic snaking queue - no-one on the deck itself I may add as everyone was in this queue! Imagine our surprise when we discovered this queue was to get back down!! We believe one elevator was not working and this may have caused this issue!? We were advised it would take at least an hour in this queue - so sadly we didn’t even take in the view/take photos but simply re-joined a queue to get back down! Staff were very unhelpful and very unsympathetic when we explained our situation - we spoke to many others anxious that they would miss dinner reservations/show tickets etc. All in all very very disappointing, we wish when we had been queuing to get up we could have been warned of the issues they were facing (complete bottleneck situation at the top!) and they could have offered to change time reservations in light of the elevator issues. Although I suspect that this was not down to one elevator being down but the whole operation being poorly managed and them over-selling tickets! If you do go I would strongly advise to allow three hours as the organisation is shambolic
