Underground Donut Tour: Historyczna wycieczka po pączkach w Waszyngtonie

Przegląd

Join us for a historic Donut adventure through our nation’s capital, Washington DC. Our tour begins in Western Market, which has a legacy dating back to 1802! There we will sample donuts made from a business that’s been in the same family for five generations. From there we’ll head downtown, where we’ll see a restaurant favored by a former President before passing by the White House itself for a perfect photo op. After soaking in some history at Lafayette Square, we’ll head deeper into DC to try some local fan favorite donuts from local celebrities. From there, we’ll head down Palmers Alley, the most instagrammable spot in DC, where we’ll end our adventure with delectable donuts with an international flavor.

By the end, you’ll have made some great friends and enjoyed some incredible donuts and history. We hope you can join us today!

We went on the DC tour with Espy and Greg on a rainy Friday. The tour was ok. I expected to hear and learn many more interesting facts and information from the guides while walking through a city of so much history, events, fame, etc. They had a couple interesting points but overall it was pretty boring. Most of the talking they did was to recommend restaurants we should go to later. And we walked at such a slow pace! They kept saying we would burn off the calories but that doesn’t happen walking at a snails pace. The donuts were delicious but I could have looked up donut shops on google and done this tour myself.

Want to get teenagers to walk around DC with you? Give them donuts. We sampled donuts from 4 different places and had a nice walk around the town starting by the White House and ending near Chinatown. Jimmy, our guide, was upbeat and included fun facts about the city. He cut up the donuts into bite size samples so you can use a toothpick to choose multiple kinds. We all enjoyed it. Piccolina was my favorite.
